About Theresa Jones, LCMHC

Ms. Jones knows that maintaining healthy balance in life is a never-ending challenge. When working with clients, she encourages trying new ideas and therapies, often saying that, “If plan A doesn’t work there are 25 more letters in the alphabet.” She offers support and guidance for people who are working through difficult situations or who are simply ready to move in a new life direction. Theresa has seen how helping people reconnect their mind, body and spirit is an effective way to accomplish tasks, manage emotions, tolerate stress and maintain healthy relationships. For over 20 years, she has provided treatment in behavioral health and substance use, with additional experience and knowledge in case management, crisis management and interventions. As a therapist, Ms. Jones offers an approach tailored to each client’s individual needs. Utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-focused and Reality Therapies, her method involves listening and at times teaching effective coping strategies topped of a sprinkle of humor for the soul.

If you have suspected coronavirus symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please contact your primary care provider for recommended next steps. We are following CDC recommendations to wear face coverings. Please wear a cloth mask, if you have one, to the office. Be aware that your provider may also be wearing a mask for protection. If you have a scheduled in-office appointment at MindPath, but cannot attend in person either because you have symptoms or because you do not want to be in public, please call your MindPath office to switch your appointment to a telehealth visit where you can connect with your provider from your home.
