About Stephen Hughes, MA, LCMHC, NCC

Mr. Hughes lives by the philosophy, “Treat others as you would want to be treated.” As a licensed psychotherapist he works with individuals, couples and families from diverse cultural backgrounds dealing with emotional difficulties, relationship problems and various psychological conditions. When helping a patient, Mr. Hughes explores symptoms and concerns in the context of their personality and history in order to understand unconscious patterns in the way that patient thinks, feels, and relates to others. His goal is to help patients define what they truly want, and then remove obstacles to those goals. Mr. Hughes takes great pride is being a part of the progress he sees in his patients’ lives and knows that by reaching out to him for help, they have taken a step towards a more actualized self.
