About Shahin Sabouri, LCMHC, LCAS

Shahin’s goal is to help her patients reach their highest potential and to set them on the right track to a more harmonious life. She is a firm believer that all people have the power within themselves to achieve health and wholeness that includes a peaceful state of mind, a nurtured soul and healing. Utilizing a holistic approach, Ms. Sabouri teaches clients how to reduce their chronic stress reactivity and build resilience to life’s perpetual stressors. She often draws on mindfulness therapy techniques in addition to practical and practice-able techniques for using the conscious mind to help the autonomic nervous system detect safety while recognizing that each person’s definition of safety will likely be different. Shahin has seen how, when this process is working properly, the body returns to its mode for healing and thriving. With frequent practice, she is confident that clients can rewire this thrive setting into a new default. Her work with clients incorporates a growing collection of coping skills and techniques that empower individuals to be proactive in their healing journey, moving them toward more joy and satisfaction in life. Ms. Sabouri is clinically fluent in Farsi and Azeri.
