About Riena Kain, LISW-CP
Riena Kain earned her B.S. in Psychology and Human Services from Upper Iowa University at Fort Riley, Kansas, and a MSW with a certificate in Victim and Survivor Services from Washburn University. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) with over 10 years of experience working with children and adolescents in various settings. These settings include foster care system, the Department of Juvenile Justice, and in schools. Riena’s childhood as an “Army brat” ingrained the necessary skills to meet her patients where they are while delivering understanding and compassion for their unique experiences. Her goal is to help identify the root of the problem that brings her patients to therapy; therefore, they can resolve troubling symptoms while working toward healing and strength. She is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families by using a variety of evidence-based therapies to help her patients develop coping skills and inner peace. She is a candid, sincere, and diligent therapist who collaborates with her patients to find the best approach for them to be successful in achieving their therapeutic goals.
