About Rebecca Howell, MHS, PA-C

Ms. Howell knows that mental health is a remarkably individualized experience. Her goal as a provider is to help people better understand what they already know, to guide them through the dark times and shine a light on their path. Often, she finds that what people need most is a good listener, someone who hears what is verbalized as well as what is left unsaid. Ms. Howell adheres to a patient-centered approach; she partners with her patients to outline their concerns and goals and then provides them with the resources they need to affect positive change through pharmacologic as well as non-pharmacologic means. At the heart of her career is the question, “What can I do to help more?” After 13 years working on the front lines of emergency medicine where she often provided informal mental healthcare for patients, families and coworkers, Ms. Howell is now a formally trained mental healthcare professional because she believes she makes a more meaningful impact in this field. Throughout a long healthcare career devoted to excellence, competency and hard work, she has repeatedly been praised for her steadfast patient advocacy, clinical skills and attention to detail.
