Why did you choose mental health care as a career path?
“When I graduated from nursing school in 1969 you were able to choose the specialty you wanted to work in and I chose psychiatry. The why and the how of what causes mental health problems made me want to figure it out and to find the best solutions for the individual. I have seen a lot of changes that have occurred since that time and still love what I do. ”
“I’ve been seeing Paula Leif for awhile now and she is always kind, caring and punctual. She’s awesome!!” ~ L.W.
“Paula Leif was and always is so helpful!” ~ Andrea
“I’ve been seeing Paula Leif at the Wake Forest MindPath Care Centers office for quite some time now — years, actually. Paula always listens to my concerns and takes that into consideration. I also appreciate how the appointments aren’t longer than they should be or drawn out, and she is always on time (it’s a miracle to find a doctors office where you don’t have to wait forever to go back!). I only see her for ongoing management — not therapy or anything, so I can’t speak to that, but for my needs, it’s been great!” ~ Lisa
