About Paul Robbins, MD

Dr. Paul Robbins is a board-certified psychiatrist who trained at the Medical University of South Carolina. While there, he completed a fellowship in Mood and Anxiety Disorders. He has also had extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Hyperactive/Impulsive Type, and Inattentive Type, in both children and adults. Dr. Robbins has taken part in over 50 research studies involving psychiatric medications and has worked in several different occupations prior to enrolling in medical school. He finds that his life experiences enable him to relate to a wide variety of people from varying backgrounds. Dr. Robbins is a Christian psychiatrist and believes his faith in God enables him to provide treatment with a spiritual perspective. He endeavors to be mindful of each person’s unique experiences and has made it a goal to utilize psychotherapy and or medications to reach the best outcome for each person who entrusts him with their care.

    Tropical Storm Isaias is headed towards the Carolinas. Please note that we plan to be open for appointments; however, be aware that power outages may be widespread which may impact telehealth and other appointments. We may not know until the last minute in all of our locations on Tuesday. Please be patient. We will waive missed appointment charges on Tuesday, August 4th in light of complications from the weather. If you and your provider are unable to connect, we will reach out to reschedule your appointment as soon as possible.
