About Nina Plocek, MSW Candidate 2020 | Pro-bono Therapy

Nina Plocek (they/them/theirs) is an aspiring psychotherapist in their final year at UNC’s School of Social Work. Nina earned a B.A. in Women’s Studies and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida. In previous professional roles, Nina has facilitated CBT-based violence prevention groups, worked with queer/trans adolescents in wilderness programs, and provided community-based mental health support in residential settings. Nina’s primary interests include working with LGBTQ+ folks, providing trauma-informed care, and working with couples. In addition to supporting clients through a collaborative process, they hope to utilize mindfulness-based practices and integrate expressive arts and movement into session.

If you have a scheduled in-office appointment at MindPath, but cannot attend in person either because you have symptoms or because you do not want to be in public, please call your MindPath office to switch your appointment to a telehealth visit where you can connect with your provider from your home.
