About Mckenzie Hampton, MSN, FNP-C
Mckenzie truly believes that through honesty, respect and empowerment anything is possible. Passionate about mental health and addiction, she repeatedly sees how, with the right treatment, individuals suffering from mental illness can overcome multiple barriers and regain control over their lives and emotions. As a provider, Ms. Hampton aims to help patients find hope, set new goals, move forward, and achieve optimal mental health while establishing meaning in their lives. Mckenzie says of her work, “I truly care for my patients and want more than anything for them to find peace and joy. I pray each morning that the treatment decisions we make together will move them in this direction.” Using the most up-to-date treatment information, she involves her patients in every step of the process and prioritizes openness and honesty about potential outcomes.
Education & Certification
Ms. Hampton earned her Master of Science in Nursing and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing both from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She is a registered nurse (RN), is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and is Vivitrol and Suboxone certified. She has been a member of the North Carolina Nurses Association for over 10 years.
