About Lynette Thompson, MSW, LCSWA

Lynette is passionate about contributing to the growth of others. The highlight of her work is witnessing clients develop greater insight, self-love and empowerment in their individual journeys. She believes that people are the experts of their own lives and sees it as her role to help them navigate their process. Ms. Thompson works with clients to achieve the potential that is uniquely theirs and to promote well-being, dignity and self-worth. In sessions she strives to embody a warm, genuine, accepting spirit and to be unconditionally supportive. Her past work included creating school policies for domestic violence in schools; facilitating psycho-educational groups on goal setting, coping skills and life skills; and helping to run dialectical group therapy sessions for victims of substance abuse. In sessions she is informed by a variety of therapy modalities, including Client-centered Therapy, Talk Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

COVID-19 & FLU PRECAUTIONS

If you have suspected coronavirus symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please contact your primary care provider for recommended next steps. We are following CDC recommendations to wear face coverings. Please wear a cloth mask, if you have one, to the office. Be aware that your provider may also be wearing a mask for protection. If you have a scheduled in-office appointment at MindPath, but cannot attend in person either because you have symptoms or because you do not want to be in public, please call your MindPath office to switch your appointment to a telehealth visit where you can connect with your provider from your home.
