About Kristina Borus – PMHNP
Ms. Borus was inspired to become a mindcare provider after experiencing the healing power of empathy and education from a very special nurse during a time of grief for her family. Through this life-changing experience, she was called to serve others in their greatest times of need. She knows that everyone experiences difficulties and that we can all benefit from a helping hand, a listening ear, and an empathetic heart. With over 11 years’ experience, Ms. Borus offers innovative, high-quality, patient-centered, holistic, trauma-informed cognitive and biological treatment approaches that are individualized and practical. She aims to provide a safe space for patients to be fully themselves, free from judgment, so that she can work with them to form a strong therapeutic partnership based on empathy, patience, and hope that maximizes patient wellness and quality of life. Ms. Borus offers medication management for a wide variety of mindcare needs, with an emphasis on evidence-based diagnostics, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy and integrative medicine.
