About Kelly Hunt, LCAS, LCMHC

Kelly Hunt has a passion for helping others through emotional and physical challenges of life, by motivating and encouraging patients to seek and embrace change towards a better quality of life that they deserve. Kelly strives to normalize mental health treatment for patients and potential patients by breaching the stigma and barriers that still exist surrounding mental health treatment. As a counselor, Kelly is here to support patients in creating meaning, developing comfort, and uncovering resources and tools to help them achieve their best selves. She aims to provide a safe and supportive space where the patient and she can collaborate and work at a comfortable pace established by the patient to reach their treatment goals. Kelly embraces empathy, self-awareness, patient autonomy, flexibility, and advocacy as core values within therapy – but she also believes that authenticity and being genuine is one of the keys to a successful therapeutic relationship. She often utilizes kind humor and honesty to further connect with individuals and foster healthy adaptive change.
