About Keisha Barnes, LCSW

Keisha Barnes became a therapist to teach actionable skills and build tools for people experiencing anxiety. She is most passionate about implementing techniques to help patients get through their anxiety and see the progression. Keisha’s care philosophy involves using the body to feel, sense and calm. Something that Keisha believes you need to know about her therapeutic process is how much measurable and buildable skills will be a part of her sessions – skill building is the backbone of what you will be working on. Keisha finds the following quote by Alex Elle inspirational: “rushing through your pain won’t make you heal any faster. Pace yourself.”
