About Julia Marki, MPAS, PA-C

Julia whole-heartedly believes that, as Sadhguru said, “that which knows how to bend will not break.” With both an optimistic and realistic mindset, she knows that each person is uniquely complex and tailors her practice to benefit each patient. The potential the human mind possesses to positively redirect itself has always fascinated her. Since a large part of our wellbeing is in the mind Ms. Marki finds it a privilege to be able to guide others along that path of emotional balance. She loves her role as a psychiatrist, noting that it is tremendously intellectually stimulating. With a special interest in treating grief and trauma, she has clinical experience performing physical examinations and handling opioid pain management in an involved and empathetic way. Maintaining an open mind for all individuals, Ms. Marki encourages patients to follow Bianca Sparacino’s advice to “be brave enough to heal yourself even when it hurts.”
