About Jessica Nichols, LPC

Jessica Nichols is a licensed professional counselor, a registered play therapist, AutPlay certified and earned her Master of Science in Counseling from Missouri State University. Jessica works primarily with children and adolescents, their parents, and couples. She enjoys using the energy and creativity that comes when working with youth to help them move through difficult times. Jessica primarily focuses on younger pateints, which allows her to employ play therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Her training includes dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy, and art therapy. When working with children and adolescents, Jessica enjoys helping parents develop skills that they can use to encourage their children to live their best lives, both individually and in group parenting classes. Jessica genuinely enjoys working with children and finds that when couple and family therapy is intertwined, this allows the entire family system the opportunity to change and grow.
