About England Mathis, LCSWA

England Mathis soon realized that she had always been a social worker at heart. Once she started to learn the social work curriculum, she really enjoyed learning about her future career. Being in this field allowed her to help an array of diverse people from all backgrounds in life therefore she can help so many people overcome their obstacles in life. Likewise, England has a passion for helping those that suffer mental illness, pain, suffering, and addictions, which she believes is the calling of her life. This field allows me to fulfill her life’s purpose. Because England loves to help the marginalized, oppressed, vulnerable, poor, overlooked, and mistreated people in our society. She enjoys encouraging, empowering, and equipping people with the tools they need to be an overcomer. She loves helping people to never give up. England hopes to work herself out of a job helping patients and to help patients feel better leaving than when they arrived. She wants all her patients to become overcomers and to never give up and to always be filled with hope. Through the trials and tribulations of England’s life she has been empowered and equipped with the skills, talent, knowledge, and abilities to help others through the hardships of their lives. Because of this, she has the natural ability to connect with hurting and suffering people. I can genuinely express love, understanding, be nonjudgmental, compassionate, and empathic. Likewise, she is a pretty good active and attentive listener.
