Interventional Psychiatry

If you’ve tried two or more medications and still suffer from symptoms, you may want to explore new alternative treatments for depression and OCD. Interventional psychiatry is a service that when combined with traditional forms of treatment can enhance care results. Some forms of interventional psychiatry include:

  • TMS – a non-invasive, medication-free outpatient therapy that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate nerve cells in the parts of the brain believed to be involved in regulating mood and emotions.
  • SPRAVATO® – also known as esketamine, is a nasal spray designed to target different neural receptors in the brain. Is has been shown to aid in decreasing depression and restoring stability to patients’ moods.
