DURHAM, N.C. – January 19, 2021 – MindPath Care Centers, South Carolina, a subsidiary of MindPath Holdings, LLC, is pleased to announce that it has acquired Changes Counseling Center of Charleston.  Changes Counseling Center is one of the highest quality private clinical and mental health and wellness organizations in the South Carolina’s Lowcountry, with offices in North Charleston and Johns Island, South Carolina.  The organization is committed to empowering clients with an array of mental health solutions including counseling, psychiatry, and wellness practices. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Changes Counseling Center - North Charleston MindPath Care CentersFounded in 2016, by Kim Finucan, Changes Counseling Center provides in-person and online outpatient services including:  counseling (child, adolescent, adult, family, relationship, group), psychiatry (medication management, Spravato®, an FDA-approved program for treating depression, testing/assessment), and wellness practices (meditation, yoga, Reiki).  Other services include:  Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Play Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Spiritual Counseling.  More information about Changes Counseling Center can be found at www.changescounselingcenter.com.  New and existing patients can continue to schedule appointments with Changes Counseling Center by calling (843) 619-7989.
