I found Dr. Capelouto to be UNUSUALLY insightful in understanding the nature of my challenges. Dr. Capelouto is highly perceptive, genuinely empathetic, and very calming in his manner. I look forward to continuing to see Dr. Capelouto for my treatment. This was my first appointment with Dr. Capelouto and I was very impressed with his ability to obtain medical history from me and thoughtfully and HELPFULLY comment on my medical history: quite unlike my experience with some other local psychiatrists. I also really liked that he was not eager to immediately change my current medication regimens, and was glad to maintain the medications that have stabilized my condition. Again, this is quite unlike other local psychiatrists, who immediately want to change a patient’s long-term medication regimen to show how important THEY are.
