After waiting for 5 weeks for an “internal reference ” I contacted the triage line directly. My first 3 choices were not available and so I scheduled time with a counselor out of the Raleigh office. I arrived at the office 20 minutes late (however I did call ahead to notify them, twice, as I was transferred from the central office to the location directly.) I arrived at the office and was told the provider would not see me, even though there were still 40 minutes of my time available. This was extremely frustrating. During times such as these, providers should be willing to adjust regular protocol to meet the needs of their patients. I found the response by the provider and the front receptionist to be very uncaring and not helpful to my own mental state. I do not feel like you are a partner but rather a business transaction.
