Our providers are continually offering specialized groups and creating programs to help you achieve your goals.

Porn Addiction Recovery Group

Hosted by: Stephen Hughes, MA, LCMHC, NCC

Location: Cary, NC

This group is a treatment program that will help participants understand their addiction to pornography, how to manage it, and how to make healthy choices. By the end of this treatment program, participants will know why they use pornography and will be in control of their usage or, if deemed most effective, will have eliminated their use.

SHINE: Find Your Light Emotion Regulation

Location: Online via telehealth

Do you feel trapped and overwhelmed by your own emotions? This program is particularly helpful if you, or someone you know, tend to resort to unhealthy means of coping with emotions. This includes abusing substances, overworking, overeating or depriving oneself of food, relying too heavily on distraction (e.g. addiction to internet or TV), or self-harm.

Creative Coping for Adolescents

Is your child struggling with confidence? Are they stressed, or having a hard time communicating their feelings and needs? We are offering group meetings for adolescents between the ages of 13 and 17 where they can express themselves and explore their recovery journey through creative arts therapy.

We are following CDC recommendations to wear face coverings. Please wear a cloth mask, if you have one, to the office. Be aware that your provider may also be wearing a mask for protection. If you have a scheduled in-office appointment at MindPath, but cannot attend in person either because you have symptoms or because you do not want to be in public, please call your MindPath office to switch your appointment to a telehealth visit where you can connect with your provider from your home.
