MindPath Care Centers’ Stan Monroe to Present at 2020 Open Minds Performance Management Summit on February 13

Monroe to focus on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Value-Based Care

DURHAM, N.C. – February 7, 2020 – MindPath Care Centers, North Carolina’s largest outpatient mental and behavioral healthcare provider, is pleased to announce that its President and General Counsel, Stan Monroe, will speak on Thursday, February 13 at the 2020 Open Minds Performance Management Summit, where he will discuss key performance indicators for value-based care during a breakout session from 2:30 – 3:45 p.m.  The summit will take place February 12-14 at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater Beach, Florida and will feature over 15 executive sessions that will focus on performance requirements, metric-based management and perspectives on health plan and payer performances.

“The value-care revolution is evidence-driven,” said Mr. Monroe.  “Organizations need to know, and keep track of, what works and what doesn’t work, while keeping focused on the main value-care objectives of delivering better health outcomes at lower costs while preserving a great patient experience.  Evidence is a concept defined by data and metrics, which we call Key Performance Indicators also known as KPIs.  I will be sharing our most important KPIs, how data was collected, and analyzed, and how they provide a sound solution that supports value care goals.”

More competition and the transition to more value-based reimbursement (VBR) models are making performance metrics more important than ever for health organizations.  In fact, organizations are being challenged to find the right performance metrics, ones’ that will demonstrate value to health plans, and capture financial measures driven by an organization’s strategic objectives.  Mr. Monroe’s breakout session will address feasible solutions and discuss the steps needed to develop applicable measures and how to use these measures for building a value proposition for health plans.  Mr. Monroe, along with Deb Adler, Senior Associate, OPEN MINDS and Ashley Sandoval, Associate CEO, Emergence Health Network will present case study examples.  For more information about the institute, visit https://performance.openminds.com/ or the program agenda at https://performance.openminds.com/agenda/
